23 февраля 1958 года в Москве на Поклонной горе был заложен памятник Победы. В этот день на месте памятника был установлен гранитный знак с надписью: «Здесь будет сооружен памятник Победы советского народа в Великой Отечественной войне 1941–1945 годов». Вокруг памятника был заложен парк Победы.

Round a monument Victory park was created.
