Баренцево море - это окраинное море Северного Ледовитого океана, которое омывает берега России и Норвегии. Глубина моря составляет шестьсот метров. Научное изучение моря было начато экспедицией Литке в 1821 году. Море богато различными видами рыб и морских животных, поэтому Баренцево море является районом интенсивного рыбного промысла. Scientific research of the sea was started with Litke's expedition in 1821. The sea is rich in different types of fishes and marine animals therefore the Barents Sea is the area of intensive fishery. A large amount of oil is extracted in the Barents Sea.

On the Circle line, the clockwise direction uses a male announcer, and the counter-clockwise direction, a female. This is made for passengers' convenience.

The General Staff Building is an edifice with a 580 m long bow-shaped facade, situated on Palace Square in Saint Petersburg, Russia, in front of the Winter Palace.
The building was designed by Carlo Rossi in the Empire style and built in 1819-1829. It commemorates the Russian victory over Napoleonic France in the Patriotic War of 1812.
Until the capital was transferred to Moscow in 1918, the building served as the headquarters of the General Staff, Foreign Ministry and Finance Ministry. Now it hosts the headquarters of the Western Military District and the Hermitage Museum.
