14 июня 1796 года родился Брашман Николай Дмитриевич. Это российский и чешский математик и механик, преподаватель. До конца жизни он преподавал в Императорском Московском университете. Брашман занимался проблемами гидромеханики и аналитической геометрии. Он основал Математическое общество и печатное издание "Математический сборник" - старейшего российского математического журнала.
On June 14, 1796 Brashman Nikolay Dmitriyevich was born. This is a Russian and Czech mathematician and a mechanic, a teacher. Until the end of his life he taught at Imperial Moscow University. Brashman dealt with problems of hydromechanics and analytical geometry. He has founded Mathematical society and the printing edition "Mathematical collection" - the oldest Russian mathematical magazine.
