Крупные морские водоросли, главным образом бурые, образуют нередко целые подводные леса. Большинство водорослей обитает от поверхности воды до глубины сорок метров, однако в 1984 году красная водоросль была найдена на глубине двести шестьдесят восемь метров, что является рекордом для фотосинтезирующих организмов.
Algae are a group of mainly monocelled, colonial or the metaphytes organisms, as a rule, in the water environment. Large algae, mainly brown, forms quite often whole underwater woods. The majority of algae lives up to the depth of forty meters from a water surface, however in 1984 the red alga was found at a depth of two hundred sixty eight meters that is a record for photosynthesizing organisms.
