Рустэм Асанбаев был в числе первых, кто начал играть в Уфе рок и блюз. Играл в группе ДДТ с момента её основания до 1983 года. В 1997 записал сольный блюзовый альбом «Пассажир». В настоящее время является лидер-гитаристом уфимской группы «Boogie band». Также арт-директор JiMi bluescafe.
On September 22, 1954 Asanbayev Rustem Nikolaevich was born. This is a Soviet and Russian guitarist, author of songs. Rustem is known as the guitarist of the DDT popular group. Rustem Asanbayev was among the first who started playing rock-music and blues in Ufa. He played in DDT group since its inception till 1983. In 1997 he made a solo blues album "Passenger". Now he is the leading guitarist of the Ufa group "Boogie band". Also he is art director of JiMi bluescafe.
