Несмотря на свою внушительную длину (582 метра), этот мост, протянутый от материка к Петроградской стороне, выглядит элегантно и даже изящно. Его украшают ажурные решётки и гранитные колонны с фонарями в стиле модерн. Строительством моста, приуроченным к 200-летию города (в 1903г.) занимались французские инженеры. На церемонию закладки приезжал президент Франции Фор.

Despite it's impressive length (582 meters), this bridge, connecting the mainland with Petrograd side, looks elegant and even fine. The bridge is decorated with gratings with artistic casting, granite pylons with lanterns in the Modern style. The building of the bridge on the occasion of 200 years of Saint Petersburg (in 1903) was implemented by french engineers. Faure, the president of the France, was there for the foundation ceremony.
