On April 12, 1937 Volk Igor Petrovich was born. This is a space pilot and a test pilot of the USSR. In 1969 he graduated from the Moscow aviation institute of Sergo Ordzhonikidze. He made a space flight as an astronaut-researcher of the ship "T-12 Soyuz" in 1984. Volk also participated in tests of the Buran project. For years of work he flew on all types of local fighters, bombers and transport planes.
