On March 23, 1908 Lyulka Arkhip Mikhaylovich was born. This is a Soviet scientist and a designer of aviation engines. Under the direction of Lyulka the first Soviet turbojet which has passed the state tests in February, 1947 was created. In the next years under the direction of Lyulka a number of the turbojets applied for different planes was created.
