18 ноября 1908 года в Москве родился Мельников Николай Николаевич. Это советский учёный, химик-органик, преподаватель, создатель отечественной школы в области химии пестицидов и один из основателей промышленного производства пестицидов в СССР. Он кончил Московский химико-технологический институт. С 1932 года Мельников был начальником лаборатории боевых химических веществ. Мельников был главным редактором журнала «Агрохимия».
On November 18, 1908 in Melnikov Moscow Nikolay Nikolaevich was born. This is a Soviet scientist, a chemist-organik, a teacher, a founder of domestic school in the field of chemistry of pesticides and one of founders of industrial production of pesticides in the USSR. He graduated from the Moscow chemical institute of technology. Since 1932 Melnik was the chief of laboratory of fighting chemicals. Melnik was the editor-in-chief of the Agrokhimiya magazine.
