Сachalot is the largest of the toothed whales and the largest toothed predator. Length of mature males may reach 50,5 metres. Cachalot may plunge up to 2,250 metres for prey, it is the second deepest diving mammal in the world. It has the largest brain of any animal on Earth, more than five times heavier than a human's. Cachalots can live for more than 60 years. Their weight may exceed 50 tons. They can be found anywhere in the open ocean.
