Национальный парк Берингия расположен на территории Чукотского автономного округа. Он был образован 27 января 1993 года. Парк был создан в результате соглашения подписанного в июне 1990 года президентом СССР Михаилом Горбачевым и президентом США Джорджем Бушем. Этим соглашением предусматривалась организация советско-американского международного парка в районе Берингова пролива.
The Beringia National Park is located in the territory of Chukotka Autonomous Area. It was formed on January 27, 1993. The park was created as a result of the agreement between the president of the USSR Mikhail Gorbachev and the U.S. President George Bush signed in June, 1990. This agreement provided the organization of the Soviet-American international park near the Bering Strait.
