On May 17, 1969, 127 days later after launch, the Soviet automatic station "Venera-6" has reached Venus - the second planet in our Solar System. During descent of the lander measurements of temperature, pressure, illumination and a chemical composition of the atmosphere have been taken. Range of temperature was from 25 to 320 °C, and pressure from 0,5 to 27 atmospheres, range of heights were from 55 to 18 km. In total during descent more than 70 measurements of pressure and more than 50 measurements of temperature have been taken.
